I am struck by how differently I am experiencing India this time around. I was in Delhi about three years ago as a very guarded, culture-shocked tourist. Diving back into this whirlpool of humanity as a pilgrim with the intention of letting my emotions lead me to a deeper connection with spirit, I am finding my heart filling with immense inner joy and peace. Among the poverty and chaos, I'm seeking out opportunities for genuine human connection. My best experience so far that I'll take home with me has been shaking hands with two Indian girls, which made me realize that no matter how different we may be, we all yearn to be seen and acknowledged.
I'm getting glimpses of how I want to experience my life, and it brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.

Anna, It's wonderful to hear
Anna, It's wonderful to hear about the inner joy and peace you're experiencing in India! I can't wait to hear your stories when you get back. And this photo of you in your scarf is stunning. Dan
